Networking with other communicators is one of the primary benefits of IABC membership. Chapter Events
IABC offers over 100 local chapters for face-to-face networking and professional development. IABC/Arkansas is one such chapter, offering you local networking opportunities, professional development workshops and the annual Bronze Quill Awards which recognizes excellence in the field of communications.

MyComm
My Communication (MyComm for short) is an online strategic planning tool available only to IABC members. MyComm takes users through a six-step process that results in a comprehensive, strategic communication plan. The tool also allows users to share and collaborate on plans via the web.

Communication World Magazine
This digital magazine is chock full of detailed case studies and how-to advice from long-time practitioners. With the latest news on industry research, technology, and trends, as well as interviews and analysis, each issue of Communication World is a continuing education course in itself.

IABC Reading Room
Reading Room is a collection of curated and original articles, lists and graphics to educate and inspire communication professionals.

Recognition: Accreditation and Awards Programs
IABC’s professional credential program recognizes communicators who have reached a globally accepted standard of knowledge and proficiency in their chosen field.

Accreditation
An Accredited Business Communicator (ABC) is a proven communication professional. The ABC is a brand of distinction carried by about 10 percent of all IABC members.

Accreditation through IABC represents a Global Standardâ„  — a personal commitment to the profession. It demonstrates a professional ability to successfully manage and perform the tasks essential to effective communication. For more information, please consult the accreditation website.

Awards
IABC offers several awards, including the annual Gold Quill Awards, an international competition that provides an opportunity to receive expert evaluation of the entry against IABC’s highest standards of excellence.
